: On one hand I can understand everyones excitement that the Mav and Comet are becoming more valuable, but on the other hand...if they become valuable, then the parts will be like Mustang parts. I stopped in Obsolete Ford in Oklahoma where a set of bullet mirror (Original) were $330 for the pair. I don't know about you guys, but paying $30 for a fender is a whole lot better than $150 for one in a yard. I'll proudly stay in the background in order to have a good car and it still be cheap.

On the other hand, it's the very interest in the Mustang that provides the necessary profit motive to continue to reproduce parts (and for junk yards to not send them to the crusher). I hate it when parts are made of "unobtainium."
