I have a 70 Maverick, the only thing they came with that made them stand out was the paint and stripes, sport mirrors and the grabber trunk lid spoiler and end caps. Mine also has a black interior, I don't know if they all did. There is nothing in the VIN that specifies that it's a grabber. From what I've heard is that they only sent one of each color to each Ford dealership, I don't know if that's true or not... anyway, that's my two cents... hope it helps and i hope I'm right !! hahaha
: I have a 1970 maverick. I was told that they made a few grabbers in 1970 and I have checked into everything and found that our car fits all discriptions of the grabber down to the grabber green paint. When I bought it, it was all original. It had the molded in black grill, the mirrors, and the all black innterior. I would like any information on this car as it has been wrecked. We are currently needing to know how much they are worth and any other info so that we can verify. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
: : According to my information, the Grabber was introduced mid-year in 1970. I don't own a Grabber, but I would think that it would mention whether it was a Grabber or not on the Title or registration. Any of you Grabber-havers out there know whether this is the case? Assuming that it was in good condition before the wreck, I would say that you could reasonably expect to sell that car for about $1500, give or take a couple hundred. This might not seem like a lot for a car that is so good and so rare, but there really isn't the demand for them like there is for, say, the Mustang. The demand is slowly growing since it is a "classic" now.
