Not sure about ordering a new tank for the 75 but my 69.5 tank is almost impossible to find because it is different from the rest of the tanks so I took mine off and to a radiator shop in town that boiled it out it a vat then plastic coated the inside of the tank with a coating they use in aircraft tanks and it only ran me $45.00. That was in Middle Georgia so you may call some radiator shops in your area for estimates...you can buy the stuff your self from places like AutoKrafters but I am not sure how good it would be just washing out at home type preparation.
: I bought my '75 Mav in August and am having some trouble with rust and gunk in the fuel. My mechanic suggests that I purchase a new gas tank since it would be too expensive to clean and repair the one on my car. Any suggestions ? Can anyone tell me where I can order another gas tank ? I've spent big $$$ on an alternator, radiator, and water pump recently and money is tight. Please help if you can. Thanks.

: Katie
