I recently installed a set of the seats you mentioned, although I purchased mine from Summit, but they are the same seat basically. At first i thought that they were just gonna be a temporary thing until I found a nice set of seats. Now I'm just going to keep them. They are a lot more comfortable than they appear. I had a sheet metal shop make seat mouts for me which cost $15 for both seats, then the bolts and washers ($5), and I was on my way. They are fairly easy to install.

: I'm thinking about taking another step toward the full restoration of my 69 1/2 Mav. The interior. Needs new front seat and carpet. I've been looking at the carpet kits that JC Whitney sells, as well as the "Body contoured bucket seats" that they sell (a molded plastic hi-back for 45.00 each). Anyone have any experience with either/both of these products? TIA.
