Low performance...extra weight...hevier tranny...too many problems

: : Well, since a 351M is a big block, you'll run into the same problem as was earlier confronted in the 460 in a maverick question. There's just not enough room between the shock towers for a motor that big. If you want to go to the trouble of putting in a big block you might as well go with the 460. But if you want a 351 the Windsor is your best option, because it requires little modification.
: The 351 is a modified 351 clevland thet has mains the same size as a 351w, a raised deck height and the bell housing pattern as the 429/460 Lima blocks. It is a little smaller than a Lima block

: : : I have a 77 maverick with a 302 I would like to put a 351 modified in it, has anyone done it and if so what changes do I need to make?
