You're probably one step ahead of me, but, I'd buy a set of shackles for it also. I destroyed mine trying to get the springs off of my '74. They are cheap from J.C. I think I paid $8.99 per side. If you plan on replacing the U-bolts, I hope you have better luck than I had. Only one place I went too had them, and they only had one set. At any rate, GOOD LUCK, it's well worth the work.
: J.C. Whitney has heavy-duty (4-leaf) springs for $55 per side. I think I'm gonna buy 'em. Strange; they're only one dollar more than the 3-leaf set...
