Make sure that you have a good ground strap between the body and the engine. When it is cold sometimes the normal ground path will open.

: : I would try the starter cylinoid (spelling) and battery cables....and even the starter cable.

: : : O.K... so we've replaced in the last 6 months to a year... 2 starters, 1 batttery, 1 voltage regulator (and wiring harness!) AND STILL She's a bitch to start...
: : : This afternoon I went out, she tries to turn over. let it rest... keep trying and resting for about ten minutes and finally decide it's time for a jump... try ONE MORE TIME... after a couple of almost starts we're off...
: : : I just refreshed the antifreeze, added some HEAT... cover the engine at night (we've got down to 18 o unseasonably cold...) I thought everything else checked out ok when I replaced the voltage regulator... Should I reconsider the alternater again or have the battery rechecked? My chiltons isn't much help here...
