trans fluid debate and other crazy ideas........

: I have never actually tried the trans fluid in the gas tank, I just heard about it a couple weeks ago. He says it should clean the carb, but it makes more sense that it would work like the mystery oil. : I watched a man one time "spoonfeed" mustard into the radiator of his Buick LeSabre claiming it would stop leaks. This same man also pours trans fluid DIRECTLY into his carbs WHILE the car is running. But these are some of the crazier things that I WILL NOT TRY!! : The only thing that I claim works is baby oil. I use baby oil on my dashboards and other interior plastics. I thought it to be crazy at first, but it is like a "miracle armor-all". The owner of a : reupholstering shop once told me to never use armor all of similar products because they filled the pores of the material and kept them from breathing. I don't know how true that is but I know from experience that baby oil works. : I didn't mean to offend anyone with the trans fluid topic. I just thought that I would bring it up.
