PREACH ON BROTHER T.L.!!!

: That's bullshit and people like that really PISS ME OFF. The brake light on a Maverick/Comet does NOT come on when the parking brake is applied. The light is activated by the sensor in the proportioning valve when there is total pressure loss and it doesn't come on until the pedal goes all the way to the floor. I hate bureaucracy! They think they know what's good for us and they don't even have a clue...

: : Is the Brake (idiot)light supposed to come on when the parking
: : brake is pulled (on) in a 73 Mav?

: : The light does come on when key is on and goes off when engine
: : is started--- just like the brochure states it should,
: : however it states nothing about the parking brake.

: : The reason for this question is the Maryland inspector
: : believes that it should, but the burden of proof
: : that it should not lies on me. If it should, I need some suggestions on
: : how to repair. This is the last thing needed to pass.
: : Any documentation available can be faxed to me, just e-mail me
: : and I will give you my Number.
