I am REALLY sorry about what happened to your car. I totaly feel for you. I don't let ANYONE drive my car; not even my wife. I have a message into my friend with the Maverick for sale--I'm waiting to hear back. It's a '73 2-door with the bumper-guards removed ('72 rear bumper), Grabber hood & "ducktail", dual sport mirrors, Grabber high-back bucket seats, 7/8" front sway-bar, rebuilt 302 with forged pistons, mild cam, performer-RPM intake & headers. Now the bad news: No a/c, drum brakes (he has all the parts for disc conversion but hasn't done it yet), 3-spd manual on the floor, Manual steering, 2.87:1 rear end. The car is Baby-Blue and needs a paint job and some TLC. He's asking a reasonable price for it (unlike some of the cars I've seen posted on this board). You could take the good parts from your wrecked car and make a sweet one out of this. I'll let you know as soon as I know...
