If it REALLY has only 20,000 miles on it, it may be worth that price simply because you can't buy a car in that kind of condition for $2650. I would still however, try to talk him down as much as possible considering the fact that the car was probably around $2400 new and now you have 27 years of depreciation. Ultimately, you must consider your options. If you pay $2650 for the car and somebody wrecks it, no insurance company will give you that much money to replace it...
