: : Having seen the picture you emailed me, I can tell you and others that you have a Comet GT (You stated that) and the arm rests are different. As far as Comets and Mavericks go, you will have to find the same armrest on a Grabber or a Comet GT. The arm rests were different on some of these cars. They (as yours) have the chrome base and a longer arm rest. Tough to find because you will have to find one off of a white interiored comet GT or Grabber. I don't know if any other Ford's shared this armrest. I have found that alot of Ford's shared the same armrests. For example, some Pintos, Musrtang II, and Granada's had the same arm rests. I have also found that if you need an arm rest for a 2-door 1970-1972 Maverick/Comet, look in the back seat of a 1974 Torino 2-door....it's the exact same arm rest....believe it or not!!
