I realize that I sort of left you all in limbo with the contest and everything and it's been a few months since I've even visited this page..but I've had a lot going on in my life and it seems that I've spent the past year in transition. Anyway...I hope that 1999 will be a better year for me and hopefully I'll get a computer!!! (whoa..what a concept!!) Anyway, thanks to Ron S. and T.l. for writing back. The Maverick is currently out of commission for winter restoration. I plan to fix a few bad spots on it and repaint it. White lightning would have been a great name for it, but I plan to paint it green. I'm still going to keep the black hood and stripes on it, though. I plan to start sanding her down this month, but am open to any paint ideas if you guys have them. Also, I'm in the market for a stripe kit as well.(If I can find one). Anyway, the contest to name my car is still in effect. I would like to put the name on a license plate, so it can be up to 7 letters. (but it doesn't have to go on a plate, either). The grand prize will be a drawing of the winner's mav. Second prize will be an original 1973 Maverick pamphlet, and third prize is a chrome set of maverick emblems. Thank you for putting up with me.
