2650 for a great piece is cheap if it's in that good of condition. Don't even listen if someone mentions the word depreciation to you because they don't value the car for its colector's status.
If you buy it, I'd check with your insurance agent about classics insurance. You may pay a little more but if you wreck it, you'll also get more.
Consider that if you bought a car of equivalent value and size today and it only had 20K miles, you'd pay at least 12000 for it. You're getting a deal.
