: Yes as soon as you set the dates I'm putting in for 2 weeks of vaction for the road trip and loading up the family. I have not desided wether or not to trailer the Grabber or dirve it out, give me some input on which to do.

: : O.K., I'm reading along and then I have to back track. First, you say Los Angeles County Raceway, and then you mention coming to the IMCC meet this year. The only meet I think you could be talking about is the IMCC Nationals in Columbus, Ohio on Labor Day weekend. Are we talking road trip or what?? ("And the Long Distance Award Goes to....")

: : : This New Years day a friend and I took our cars to The Los Angeles County Raceway in Palmdale,CA for the Hangover Nationals 99 drag race, just to see what they'd do. The 7GRABR2 finish 2nd out of a field of around 100 car. She won 5 rounds of braket racing(no by rounds) to get to the final and lost by .004 seconds to take 2nd place in the street tire Trophy class (yes she did get a Trophy). This was her first time to the track. As a 72 Grabber with a mostly stock 302 and a daily driver with a 2.79 rear end, she ran a best time of 15.881E.T. at 88.42mph with a 60FT time 2.42 and a best reaction time for me was .130 seconds. The Trophy is very cool. I will be bringing it to the IMCC meet this year, hope to see you all at that event. The events promoter and Trophy presenter said that it was very cool to see a Maverick put on such a good display.
