I recently took a trip to an auto store and bought 4 new wheel cylinders
for my 9 inch drum brakes. The front wheel cylinders matched the old ones
exactly. The back, however, were different. The brake lines on my car go
straight into the back wheel cylinder and the new wheel cylinders showed
them coming at an angle. I took them back and the man at the store said
that the rear end must have been swapped. I looked at the tag on the rear
end and it said 8" with 2.79. This is what my car came with. He looked up
a mustang rear brakes and the wheel cylinders for that matched mine exactly.
Do i have a mustang rear end or is the guy at the store wrong?
