Hey I use to live in Chicago till a year and a half ago and I used to own a 85 Firebird I used to treat that car like a baby - but because it had so many things on it that were electronis it always something wrong with it - so I had to leave it behind when i moved here - I then had a escort wagon - 86 - then I went to a local junkyard and they sold cars as well and I picked up a 76 maverick for $400 and this car is the best car that I have ever owned - see my father had two of them then got stuck with a Honda wagon when the second maverick got totaled - he used to tell me that it was the best car he has ever owned - especially when he needed to fix things -
And think of it this way you don't have to deal with any electronic garbage like the newer cars - and guess what the y2k problem won't effect your car - MAVERICKS ARE COOL AND THEY ARE THE GREATEST CAR I HAVE EVER DRIVEN !!!!!!!!!!!
