: The tanks are different because the larger one holds 4 more gallons (I believe). To look at the tanks, they don't look all that different. The 4 gallon difference is spread out over the whole tank, so they look the same. They do hang down a little lower I suppose, but it is more toward the front of the tank near the axle, where the other tank is tapered. It is impossible to use the old straps. : I don't think I would worry about swapping out tanks just to gain a few more gallons...but if you want, it can be done. it is a staight bolt-in. : : =========================================================== : : I guess I'm going to have to search the yards to find one, I want to have one prior to the trip to OHIO I think stoping every 200 or so miles for gas really suck's, especially on a 3000 or so mile trip.
