Actually, I would much rather prefer either the Performer-RPM or the Victor Jr. Over the torker.

Also; you only neey screw-in studs if your cam is over .500-inch lift. I'd much rather spend the money on bigger valves and mild port-matching. -Just my 2-cents...


: Just two thoughts:

: 1) Have you considered a Torker intake and Holley 600 vac. secondary carb in lieu of the Edelbrock set up? You need RPMs to make horsepower with a small block and the Torker flows real well.

: 2) I notice that you don't have any modifications to the heads. Good springs and retainers are essential. Other concerns to look at are the pressed in rocker studs and replacing worn valve guides.

: Depending upon your budget,some if not all of this work should be considered.
