I really don't have any experience in this area. i do know my 70 with manual steering I hate...much prefer power steering. : ----------------------- : : OK heres the deal..... : : My "mary" scares the hell outta me any time we go over 100mph. : : she has all new front end a new PS cyclinder, control valve, pump,and suspension. : : I tightened up the steering gear and that helped a little. The problem seems to be in the design of the PS control. : : there is movement of the steering gear arm before the control valve moves enough to assist the steeing. : : PS is nice at low speeds and in parking lots but I have this "need for speed!!!" : : I have all the necessary parts to convert it to manual steering and I am going to be putting disc brakes on the front soon so I'd like to do all the front end work at once. : : My Question?
