EXCELLENT Ron! This calls for a celebration. I've never used the "real" dye but I spray-painted a dash pad in the Comet I used to have . and as long as nothing abrasive comes into contact with it, it's fine...
: YEEHAAA! I found an unmolested, uncracked, slightly faded Tan dash pad today while "treasure hunting" (for my truck, no less) at the "mall". Thanks to all of you that sent sugesstions and sources for one.
: Now my next question, who has used those dye kits and what's your opnion on them (ease of use, quality of coloring, endurance,etc.) I know we've touched on this previously, feel free to e-mail me if you want to give me all the "details" of the job.
