i'm thinking about making a mavrick street rod. I already have a built 351w and have a few questions. What do i have to do to put a 351w in a straight 6 car besides remove the old motor? will it bolt right up with 302 motor mounts or the old 6 mounts? in a mustang you just switch motors and it is an inch taller and inch wider. will i need to change the front springs? does anyone run and aod auto trans from a mustang or crown vic? i already have one. what size is the rear end? 8inch 8.8 or 7.5 is it easy to get different gears 3.55, 3.73,or 4.10's? please feel free to email me r respond here as i check here daily now. thanks in advance for your help. also are there any other bbs's on mavricks on the net. thanks my email is salem820@aol.com
