I have a 74 maverick grabber. The car is in generally good shape but the tranny shifts in a wierd way. The 1-2 shift is fine but the 2-3 shift sound like it comes out of gear and revs up like it is out of gear and then takes gear. Also when you take off and don't get into it very hard it jumps from gear to gear up and down. This is very annoying. Can somebody help me? Is my tranny on the way out or is it simple?
