The people at the junkyard should be able to tell you what other years/models had the same switch. You will need to pull the steering wheel off with a steering wheel puller you can get for about $5 at the auto parts store. Then you will have to pull the ring and wiring harness through the steering column. Then do the opposite to put the new one in your car. Always look at the plug at the bottom of the wiring harness and count the wires to make sure it matches your car. Autokrafters: http://www.autokrafters.com/

: : : I have a '74 mav that needs a new turn signal switch, I have a auto transmission with the switch on the collumn, if anymore information is needed, let me know
: : : Can anyone tell me where I might get ahold of one, or get me in touch with someone that might be selling one?
: : : Carl

: : If all thats wrong with the switch is a broken cam you can get a cam repair kit at any auto parts store that carry the "HELP" line of products,The part # is 49301,cost about $15.00,if you really do need a whole new switch then I guess your best bet would be Auto Krafters cost $50 to $75,Good Luck

: I'll look into that Autokrafters as a last resort, I think I might hit the junkyards around here, but I'm basically car illiterate (or the equivalent :)), so I'm not sure how I'll go about doing that
: is there anything special I need to look for?, will a switch out of any other type car work? anything you could tell me would be appreciated
: also, Autokrafters, is that national/mail order, and where might I get a catalog or whatnot from them, thanks for all the help
: Carl
