: To answers two questions in the same post, Yes Ford switched to 5 lugs on the "new" Mustang with a '5 on 4.5' bolt pattern, so the pattern does match. "However" ( you all knew that was coming!) the backspacing is the major difference. Especially if you are talking about the 17x8 "Cobra" wheels (I would LOVE to slip a set of those under the 'wells of my 'Hot Rod'!!) It's a whopping 5.95 inches!!! As I recall Mavs run a 4 inch depth...you can see the problem here...tires rubbing suspensions, screwed up geometry, etc.
