Right now, I'm running 235-60R-14s all the way around. Rather than use a spacer, I'd reccomend wheels with the proper backspacing OR a slightly skinnier tire (yuk). With a spacer, you're just "rigging" your car instead of 'engineering' it. I plan to eventually go with some aftermarket wheels--15" or 16" and something like 225-55R/16 tires. 225s look "beefy" with a short sidewall...

: What tires do you have? I have 215/60/14 and 245/60/14 on those grey Magnums and I need a spacer in the back to prevent leaf spring rubbing.

:
: : Height would not be the problem; it's the back-spacing. Anything more than 4" gets uncomfortable on a Maverick. I'm running 4.25" back-spacing on mine and they rub the inner wheel wells sometimes when turning into driveways...

:
: : : I hope you are talking about those 17" mags, because they do look good. But will height be a problem?

: : : : I don't know but let me know if you find out because I think those wheels would look awsome on a Maverick...

: : : : : Does anybody know if i will be able to put wheels from a 96-98 mustang GT on my mav? They have the same bolt circle, but i'm sure there are other factors...
