: Are the carbs cheap and easy to change.

I find maintenance and repairs on the Maverick easy. I own a 1972 2-door. It has a 200 cid engine, so it is quite accessable. It has just over 200,000 miles. The transmission was only rebuilt once at around 100,000 miles. The only pain in the but maintenance I find is alternator repairs require me to remove the radiatior to get the alternator out (the car has factor A/C which limits access to the alternator). Cannot comment about a supply of engines.... Mine has been very reliable, no major repairs nor any anticipated on the horizion. I just chainged my fuel pump a couple of months ago, it was the original!!
