I had the same problem. are you sure it is coming from the rear of the car? if not check the lower bushing on the idler arm, upper & lower ball joints, etc.
: I'm haveing some trouble finding the cause of a rather loud knocking noise that happens when I hit a large or sharp bump. I just replaced the rear shocks and put new shoes in the back end. I've double checked the shock's and thier both fully installed and completely tight. I'm fairly certain I didn't screw up anything in the brakes and can't think of anything in there that would cause that anyway. Do any of you have any ideas on stuff I could check that could be causing it? It's getting kinda loud and I'm getting kinda worried.
