I can't give you all the answers, but I installed front manual discs on my 1970 from a 1980 Granada. I changed only the Master Cylinder. You must do this. The rear lines weren't bigger but the master cylinder had a larger reservoir. I didn't change the proportioning valve, and it stopped well. However, the front rotors were blue after about 2000 miles. They never warped, but I didn't change anything because at that time I changed to rear discs as well, solving the problem. Tell the board more information so we can help more.
What year car?
What disc setup? (Granada or Maverick)
Was your car power brake before the swap?
What Master cylinder?
: Hi , I recently converted to manual front discs.I am not sure what I should do now because I have a hand adjustment propertional valve and it doesn't mate with the rear lines, and I have tried adapters but they all have a bigger inner pressure hole.Did Ford use a different dist. block for manual disc cars? What would happen if I just left this manual adjustment valve out and stuck with the drum dist. block?Oh , one more question, did disc brake cars come with a bigger rear brake line so it will have less pressure?
