I got my buckets out of a 73 2dr Maverick in the junk yard. I had them reapolstered and they are great. I drove from So Cal to Columbus and Back with no adjustments. These seats are great. they do not recline but they feel like they are in the perfect position. I drive my car 100 miles a day freeway comuting and my back never hurts. The only problem I've had is that my right leg got cramped up coming home from Columbus but that is do more to the throtle return spring than do to the seat hight. The do make you sit higher in the car than the bench seat did. Also these high back buckets came in almost all Ford Models from 71-73 you just have to look around alot. They were most comon in the Mustang Mach 1's and the Grand Torino's.
: What are the dimensions that will fit a 1970 Mav? I have a bench right now and was wondering if you guys that have OEM Mav buckets too measurements before you went out and upgraded your seats?
: Thanks for any help you can give me.
