The wire comes directly from the drivers side door jamb switch (the one that turns on the dome light). Because this has power all the time, this is what Ford used. : : : : I was just wondering how many Mavericks came with a factory trunk and hood light. In all the years of looking in junkyards, I have only seen it twice. One is now in my car. The other I just saw today. Anyone in the Hayward, CA area can find it at the Pick and Pull. It is in a mustard color four door.
