: : : the pipes should be flanged out(I don't think that's the correct term, but...) , whatever, they're pretty much sealed by pressure and bending of the pipe. if any fluid makes it to the threads, you have a problem in the first place.

: : : : I'm installing a Clutch Slave Cylinder on a car tommarow....Should I use Teflon tape on the treads on the fluid line? I'm using Dot 4 fluid.
