.060 over will run hotter, you'll probably need to upgrade the cooling system, in my experience with the Maverick/Comet cooling, the stock system is exactly what you require from factory, not a bit more. if for any reason your car runs a little warmer or you drive with the AC in nice hot southern US weather, you will need to upgrade.
this is why I'm debating on rebuilding my old block,it requires .060 over, or I could get by with .040 and a sleeve, but thats another story...
