"Tapping" sound in front

I have a tapping sound coming off the passenger side front. The sound is relative to rotation speed and when you brake lightly, the sound goes away. (1976 with manual disc brakes) It doesn't do it all the time, but more noticable at 25-30 mph. Anybody have any ideas? -Doug
