: Yeah I would definetly use a battery box, most battery relocation kits include one and I wouldn't do it with out one. If you already have the cable and necessary hardware just go to an Auto parts store or a boating store and they should have one, don't get a battery tray, cause if your alternator decides to cook your battery and acid leaks out the top it could spill over the sides of a tray. Oh yeah battery boxes have little vents on the sides, and I wouldn't worry about ventilation to the outside your trunk should have adequate ventilation.
