unfortunately there is no easy fix for this problem. It's very difficult & very labor intensive. To do it properly the cowl must be removed & it is a major pain in the ass to do it. I had to do this on a 67 Mustang for the same reason. The Maverick is even worse to remove cause it has an extra brace welded on. I removed my Maverick Cowl cause it got bent up by a falling tree limb. The best way is to get a doner car & sacrifice it. cut the whole cowl assembly out at the firewall & gring off what you dont need. Then grind off the cowl on your maverick. You have to remove the fenders & windshield. once the cowl is off you will see where the problem is. The Mustang replacement panels can be modified to use as patch panels. The simpler solution would be to seal off the cowl vents but this is treating the symptom rather than the problem plus you wont have any ventilation in your car. Floor panels, as far as I know are not available. Depending on how bad they are, you can buy sheet metal & patch them ( i told you its a pain in the ass)
