You can just leave it hooked up on the gas tank side it'll vent the tank. you don't need to hook it up to the carb.
I am finally getting ready to put in the 302 and am finding tons of stuff I hadn't considered. What do I do about the vapor cannister that hooks up to the gas line and carb? I am putting on a Edelbrock Performer 600 cfm. Can I just eliminate the whole thing? and if so do I have to vent the gas tank in some other way? As usual, any info or advice is much appreciated. Thanks Butch
