: According to an old Hot Rod Magazine article, "Muscle for Mavericks," a '67 Mustang clutch equalizer bar can be installed after slight reworking. Another article from the same era in Motor Trend, "mated the upper half of a Maverick equalizer with the lower half of a '66 Mustang piece." It must be a pain in the $%# to get the engine in and out as the Maverick Z bar is a two piece unit, allowing it to be installed after the engine is in.
: For bushings, I used brass door hinge bushings from a Chevy. I opened up the holes in the Z bar to accept them and the inside diameter was perfect for the rods.

: Dumb question that I know has been covered, but can a Mustang "Z" bar be used on a Maverick? Charlie Ping gave me a the link below, and they show several "Equalizer bars" for the Mustangs. It also has alot on the bushings...
