you can swap around which holes the pump lever is in, puts more or less fuel depending on which you have it in. probably is running lean as rickyracer elluded to, or the other end of the spectrum, as mine did, dumping in too much fuel before the throttle body opens, causes the same problem.
: :check your accelator pump. it should start pumping fuel as soon as you move the pedal, also make sure you don't have a vaccum leak any where
