Chris,

I had my entire interior re-covered in cloth for around $400. Now that also included the front and rear side panels, package tray, and even the cracked dash pad. I had new foam put into the front buckets, but left the back seat alone.

I'm a little confused about your spacer question though. If you have gotten hold of a pair of Maverick bucket seats, you shouldn't have to do anything unless you got ones from a later model car that had the hump in the floorpan to accomodate the catylitic converter. But in any case, that would only interfere with the passenger side inboard seat track. The driver's side should bolt right in. Take some time and pull up the carpet in your car. Take a look near the driveshaft tunnel (inside the car) and you should see a pair of dimples right in the metal that indicate where to drill the holes for the inboard seat tracks. If for some reason you do need to fabricate a spacer, use something solid as was mentioned in a previous post. A good hardware store should have some square stock that you can cut and drill to suit. Hope this helps...

: I'm just about ready to put some stock buckets into my maverick, and i have a few quick questions:

: 1) How much can i expect to pay for getting the seats re-covered (cloth)? I would like to have additional support added all-around too (just padding)

: 2) What size spacers do i need for the "inside" of the seats (since mine is too early to have stock seats, i will need some form of spacer to keep the seats level). Any suggestions on what to use?

: Any other tips?

: Thanks!
: Chris
