: ....something to the top of each page. Something like "This information may or may not be exactly correct".

: This is not slamming anyone, or anything like that, but as we all know and are seeing here, these cars are all different. Some may have things that others didn't. They are also 20+ year old cars, and who the heck knows what someone may have done with them over the years. Unless you bought the car YOURSELF, NEW, you really have NO IDEA what they have been through. Even if it was your fathers/mothers car. Someone may have added something that you didn't know about.

: Kinda goes back to the fact that as soon as you bought your first Maverick/Comet, didn't you 'all of a sudden' see tons of them on the roads? Cars that you never noticed before? Well...if it is a family owned and opeerated car, things may have been changed, you just didn't know it. hehehe

: I could go on, but.....these cars are like people. They are ALL different, in their own special way.

: : I forgot about the metal tag, that is 69.5 only. The dual-buckle belts were used in 1970 as well I know, deluxe seat belts were an option that had smaller buckles in 1971, I am not sure when they went to a single buckle. Thanks for the heads up, I'll try to fiqure that one out.
: : 14" wheels were an option, probably not too uncommon. -CP

: : I think your time line is great , but I was wondering a few things.First , didn't the early Mavericks come with a metal door tag , then around mid-year they switched to the sticker tag? Also , my 69.5 has a two belt and two buckle seat belt system , and wasn't there a mid-year change on that also by going to a two belt system (one buckle)and the upper belt could attach to the lower one?Just thought that maybe those could be added to the timeline. Also, my car had factory 14 inch wheels with a 200 I-6, is that uncommon?
