: I have this 89 Ford Festiva. The timing chain broke and the valve subsequently bent when they came into contact with the piston. Should I
: a) Rebuild the engine as a second car?
: b) Get 25 for scrap or 100$ trade for a inline 250 for my maverick?
: c) Fix it up and sell it to some poor soul and buy the inline 250 anyway
: plus headers and maybe a two-barrel?

: The third one I have a moral dillemma about. But hey someone pawned it off on me right?

We had a 78 Toyota Carona(yes I spelled it right) that we bought to get the motor out of (car was totalled, motor only had 150 miles).
We took the motor from the truck we were transplanting the motor into and dumped it in the passenger seat of the car. And Foster House came and picked up as a donnation. They get the money from the car, whether it goes for scrap or gets resold, and we got to write off(legally) the full Blue Book value on our taxes.
