:look at the bottom set of numbers on the tag, top set is more bearing info. Bottom is size and ratio. Ford never put a 9" in the mavericks.
I have a 1970 Maverick. The number doesn't seem to match up with anything on the lists I've seen for Ford differentials. Even the 7.5. So how can I do a visual check on it. The tag looks close to a number for an 8 inch. Might it be a larger differental? My shop teacher looked at it and said," Wow those hot rodders would kill for that 9 inch." Odd?
