The 250 I6 can take a 4.11 rear end ratio , the 7 main cap 200 and 250 engine can hit pretty high RPM's while still being able to last strength wise.Where you will run into a problem is cam and carb. , if you are using a 1bbl carb. you might as well forget it.What kind of set-up do you have, what do ya mean by freshened up?
