(question 1)
HAs anyone ever tried to put rear springs in a MAverick. Not coil-over. Just regular springs in place of leafs. How did you do it? If you didn't could you hypothesize on maybe how it could be done. I know leafs place the axle in place so I would need transverse bars to keep it from moving. Is there a good place to weld in shock mounts in place of towers in the back?
(question 2)
I know the Maverick has bars that come out that look like torsion bars but they are used to make the other portion of the A- arm. I noticed those look like the don't do a very good job. Is there a way to beef up that rod connection to the A-arm? If anyone knows the weak points of the Maverick suspension and possible fixes for them I would like to know.
(question 3)
Besides repositioning the control arm like Carrol Shelby did. Are there any other ways to tune the supension with just the use of stock equipment. Where can I get negative camber plates mentioned on the message board? I'm looking for sports car performance not drag race performance from my Maverick. If anyone has the same goals in mind I would definately appreciate the help. After all the Maverick is a jazzy firecracker. :o)
