Depending on how modified this car is, there can be a wide range in the value. Most would agree that a stock 302 Grabber with no visible flaws could bring about $5000. Now that being said, just the two modifications that you mention put the value at well over $6000. A 9" rear end with posi and gears (I assume) can easily fetch $500. Not to mention the tricked out motor. It doesn't take long to start adding the dollars up when you start messing with a motor. Take into consideration how much work has been done to the motor, i.e. machine work, heads, etc. Machine work on the block and heads can easily approach several hundred dollars. The biggest advantage, it's already done. Sure, part of the fun is in building it yourself, but you can also get in over your head pretty quick in doing it, both financially and timewise. My Mav project started out as simply putting together a replacement car for my wounded four door Mav, to (soon) becoming the world's only Saleen Maverick. I'm not even close to done (financially) and I've already spent close to $6000--not including the price of the car. So I think it is fairly plain to see that there isn't a set value for a particular model of car, there are many things that need to be taken into consideration. If this is a direction you would have gone with the car in question as far a modifications, well, you would have easily spent the 6 grand in building it. However, if you aren't really too concerned with the extras and don't want to spend quite that much money, then look for a nice stock Grabber. Finally, after this message that shouldn't have been nearly this long, I say, if the car was done right and it's something you like, sure it's worth the 6 grand. If the car wasn't done right (and I do mean right--not cobbled), and if it's not quite what you're looking for, then by all means hold off and find the one that's right for you, there are plenty of Mavs in the pasture (fish in the sea...get it?)
