:been there, done that, use 302 headers, just make sure the head bolt holes are drilled right. That is te biggest problem with headers. Also all those little metal tabs you see sticking out on the trans and back of the block? grind them off. They get in the way. floor shifter & manual steering is the easiest way. saves weight to.
im going to be doing the swap in about a month here and i was just lookin for the guys that did it already incase i have a few questions.
: heres one already..hehe....do headers fit on the 351 without mods to the shock towers or anything else that might be in the way..or am i better off just using stock manifolds?
