:several old sayings come to mind sports fans, "speed costs money, how fast do you want to go"? & "a fool and his money are soon parted". ant more questions. Everybody has a price, you just have to find it.

You might be right about the $3500 going price, but if he really wants the car I wanted to point out that he couldn't build one for that price (not including labor), so if he really wants it go ahead and buy it. -CP

: : :$6000, maybe for a 71 in mint factory orginal condition with all the bells and whistles plus excellent factory paint. If he has $6k in it, that's his problem. Offer $2500 and go up no more then $3500. You never get out what you put in them, unless it's something very special. Even allot of the collectors cars never get the "real" time & money amount people put in them.
: : Look at it this way, if you put 1000 hrs. in a resto over three years
: : at even $15 per, minimum, for your labor which equals out to $15,000 just for labor then add in the parts and misc. costs like researching for parts etc. Now tell me what a car is worth to you.

: : Can you guys give some help to a message board "newbie"? I am interested in
: : : buying a completely restored '71 Maverick Grabber, but don't have a clue how
: : : much it's worth on "the market" these days.

: : : It's got a rebuilt and tricked out 302, 9" rear end, no flaws in the exterior
: : : or interior this old guys eyes can find.

: : : What kind of price range would this baby be in?
