Well I was a the local mall today and found a near perfect Comet gas cap. I have a Grabber and don't need it but I got it anyways for you Comet guy's. It was a 5 finger discount so 1st one who can answer the the question gets it.

What year was the 1st Mercury Comet made, and what engine came in it?
And for the tie braker. What Ford model was it based on?
