:347 is a easy project to do, everything outide the engine already fits. If you bore any engine out to much it's weak. Earlier blocks, pre 74, are better to use. The Mexican block seems to be the big thing. Seems like about 10 years ago they were telling everyone how they were junk because they were thiner.
300 hp shouldn't be that hard in a mild buildup. 425 if you build the shit out of it. Street use, stay on the mild side for long term reliablity.


Has anyone seen that kit in the summit magazine that has the Summit 347 Short Block Kit. Designed to convert your 302 into a 347? Has anyone seen this done? What's the horsepower after this is done?
